Our HRM Department maintains the following code of conduct as per the ILO convention.

 

  • Does not give preference to any religion cast, sect, regionalism, gender, political or any outside pressure etc.
  • Does not employ any worker on the basis of contract or apply force or made to work under compulsion.
  • Does not employ or encourages any child worker.
  • Abides by the rules and regulation of the B.K.M.E.A mandate, such as medical facilities with medical leave and provident fund etc.
  • Necessary safety equipment’s are provided to the workers on specific jobs, along with monitoring of proper use of the equipments.
  • Strongly denounces any maltreatment, complexity or abuse with any worker or staff by any person.

  • Medical Center : Considering the provision of medical facility to our workers and staffs under the prevailing labor act we have set-up a complete dispensary supported by a medical officer and trained nurses. Necessary first aid, along with supply of medicines is provided from this dispensary. In the case of long tern treatments, the patient is shifted to a better hospital. Under the circumstances the authority takes necessary measures provides full support.

 

  • Prayer Room: Paying respect towards the religious sentiment of our people two separate prayer rooms (male & female) have been set up in the factory premises.

 

  • Fire Fighting : Fire has always proved a devastating effect on human life. We maintain this system completely within the frame work of international safety act. Necessary fire fighting equipment are staged in places of emergency to provide considerable support. We also maintain a fire alarm system throughout the project as an early warning system and to receive additional external support in terms of requirement.

 

  • Power House : Disruption in power supply indulges the workers to reluctance and eventually leaves a two sided adverse effect on the output. Considering the irregular and insufficient power supply system of our country, we posses under our disposal a complete power supply unit to facilitate our entire project activities in terms of requirement. Necessary generator units have been set up for the purpose, enabling 24 hours self generated power supply to the project.
